The European Youth Parliament has brought the European youth together since 1987. The almost seventy International Sessions and many other events already organised have been part of a movement that has changed Europe. The tens of thousands of young people who have met in the events of the European Youth Parliament and have shared their views on our continent’s future are an inspiration to us, therefore we are now seeking to host the 1st International Youth Forum of EYP-Europolis Belgium in Antwerp.

Bringing almost one hundred fifty young Europeans together to debate difficult European issues in a foreign country and in a foreign language for seven days is an activity that truly creates life‐changing experiences. We have experienced it ourselves and now wish to pass our experiences on to another generation of European youngsters.

The twenty years of EYP tradition has produced a format that gives us a steady ground to build upon and also to innovate. It also poses us with a challenge – a challenge to meet the standards and expectations of the EYP Community now spanning from Ireland to Georgia, from Iceland to Cyprus. Not undermining a bit of the challenge ahead, we however feel motivated and encouraged to take the task. Antwerp is the ideal city to host an international EYP Forum. Teambuilding on the St Anne’s beach, committee work in the UA classrooms and general assembly in one of Belgiums biggest conference centres. With all of our main events taking place in here, the city will be a European capital for those 7 days.

Already many private companies have expressed their interest in our project. It is now our hope that more players would be willing to cooperate with us and make the project feasible and the quality high. With great motivation and very talented people, we are confident that the project will be successful and deliver a positive and memorable experience for all involved.Our vision is clear: a forum of the highest quality in both organisation and content, a forum with the participant in the centre, a forum with a special Belgian flavour.
